Give me marriage, or give me death!

What makes someone long for such a serious commitment at such a young age? MTV even had a show on this subject (engaged and underage). Why cant these children (yes children) have dreams of living life. Instead they want to get married, have babies, settle down, by age 20.  I’ve heard the saying “i want to be a young hot mom.” What does this even mean, and why is it so important?
