Lets go get a car loan. Yes you and me. You don’t want to go? Why? O because you have no idea where to even start with getting a loan? I figured!

Well before we can get a loan, we need to know how much you can afford. So, let me see your monthly budget or lets sit and prepare a budget. You don’t know how? I figured!

When my parents were in high school, there was a class called personal finance. However, most schools no longer offer this. What an invaluable resource! How can this class be justifiably removed from the curriculum? I’m sitting in my office and I have a 22 year college student who has no idea about her personal finances. Luckily, she has seen that she doesn’t understand how to handle money properly and recognizes she will need to improve these skills.
