Falling Off The Wagon

The most frustrating thing that can happen is falling off the wagon. You’re working really hard at sticking with a cycle and then you miss that one day. Yes im relating this to exercise and diet, but it could be anything. You know what I’m talking about. Working out strong for an entire week, you hit the weekend, go out with friends, don’t get up for your workout. Or maybe you went out to eat with friends and instead of eating some grilled chicken, you eat hot wings. Not just hot wings, but also some fries and 5 beers.
Guess what. Thats OK! It’s okay to cheat every once in awhile and feel good about it. This is where the problem happens. Most people miss that workout, eat those wings and throw in the towel. They figure they missed that one day so why not just quit. You can’t quit! That one day isn’t going to change your entire mindset. I believe you should have a cheat date. Take a day and enjoy some seriously good food.
If your entire lifestyle change revolves around that one day making or breaking you, maybe you aren’t ready for the change. Maybe you want to rethink you choice. My advice is to stay on track, keep pushing forward. If you take 2 steps forward and 1 step back, you are still one step ahead.<(really lame i know)
